Behind the Music

A London born musician, Antonio Mascarenhas is a composer, multi-instrumentalist and bandleader who is currently studying at Leeds Conservatoire.

Being on stage from the age of 14 with his dad, Antonio has been growing as a performer for over 5 years in the pop, rock and classical worlds. A member of the National Youth Orchestra Inspire, Antonio has had experience playing alongside some of the most promising young musicians in the country.

Composing with a view of both worlds, his compositions highlight these influences with African and Portuguese influences blending with western concerto traditions.
